Crazy Cat

Quita loves to torment Fred especially when he's covered up for the night.  We have found her on top of the cage a couple of times too.  It's a game though because Fred likes to tease her also.  Crazy animals!

Quita the cat

Yay!!!  We finally got a cat!  She is so much fun.  She has immediately become part of the family. 
Bob and Quita have ironed out their relationship and get along pretty good.  Although when she gets bursts of energy, Bob wants to play too but just isn't sure how to play with her.  It's quite funny! 
Quita loves to watch Fred, our parakeet, and I'm afraid one day when I get home from shopping, the cage will be on the floor and Fred will be flying around the house.

I have yet to get a really good picture of her face, she's just too fast for me.

I changed the name of my other blog to Creative Warcraft.   creativewarcraft.blogspot.com  I think the name is much better than Kileen's Krafty Korner, just too generic.  Feel free to take a look at it.

Day trip to DC

We haven't been to DC since we moved into our house 6 years ago, so we thought it was high time we took the two little girls to see it.  We used to go regularly when we lived in Virginia.  It was the most gorgeous day for walking and we definitely walked our butts off. We went to a couple of the Smithsonians (the American History and the Natural History).  Emma and Maggie LOVED the dinosaurs and the hall of mammals.  We walked through the Hirshorn Sculpture Garden.  And we picnicked on the mall between the Washinton Monument and the Capital.  We will be going back in the next few weeks to take advantage of the great fall weather and go to the National Zoo.
