Getting to know you...

Welcome to the Christmas Edition of Getting To Know Your Family and Friends...you know the drill. Get to bloggin'.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? both but I prefer wrapping paper

2. Real tree or Artificial? artificial

3. When do you put up the tree? varies every year just depends on how early we get in the Christmas spirit.

4. When do you take the tree down? the day after Christmas ( can't stand it by that time)

5. Do you like eggnog? yes but it has to be cut with a little milk, much to thick

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Tape player/radio

7. Hardest person to buy for? my dad, his birthday is the day after and I never know what to get him.

8. Easiest person to buy for? all my girls

9. Do you have a nativity scene? yes

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? mail

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? can't think of one

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I try to start in September or October

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My Grammy's mincemeat pies. Love them!!!

16. Lights on the tree? Colored lights but I like white

17. Favorite Christmas song? Happy Holidays by Andy William ( I know it's really gay but I like it)

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? stay home

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? of course

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angels I have 2 and we switch between them each year, but I don't mind stars

21. Presents on Christmas Eve or morning? one gift (pj's) for the kids on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? the last minute gifts I end up having to pick up

23. Favorite Ornament theme or color? I love the ones my kiddos have made they are the most special one to me

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? prime rib and yorkshire pudding (can you see the english influence?)

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? nothing really big just little things

Wow, my father's bday is the day after Xmas too! It is hard enough thinking of a Xmas gift then I have to get a bday gift too. I agree they are the hardest!

I hope some time we can try your YorkshirePudding. What is it?
