Frederick's Fourth at Baker Park

We listened to the big band in the half shell for a few songs.
Emma had so much fun on the spinny ride. She was grinning from ear to ear the entire ride.

Maggie kept making Emma crack up every time they were on the way up.






It was a really fun day. We will definitely go back next year. There were tons of things for the kids to do.

Happy 4th of July!

Devil's Backbone Park

We drove up to Boonsboro to see Devil's Backbone. It's a nice little park but we weren't able to see the mountain, unfortunately. It was a really pretty area anyway.

Gathland State Park

So we also took a little trip to find Spook Hill up at Gathland State Park. Supposedly you put your vehicle in neutral and something pushes you uphill. We didn't try it but will next time. We did take a tour of the museum there.

Eeeek, a mouse!

Bob was going nuts by the back door the other day because this little guy got trapped by the fire pit on the patio. We were all sitting outside on the patio so he had no way out. But he moved on after all the commotion died down and we went in. He's got a sweet little face though, don't ya think?

Why I Blog Questionnaire

1. Why did you start a blog?
Well I started first with a My Space page but wasn't comfortable with that so once I saw Mary's blog I thought that was a much better format to share pictures and anything else I wanted to share.

2. What did/do you hope to accomplish with your blogging?
It's easier than sending pictures to people which I hardly ever did anyway.

3. Have you found that you don't post as much as you did when you started? Actually I think I post a little more than I did when I first started.

4. If yes, why not?

5. How important are comments to you? I don't need them but they are nice to have.


6. Do you ever find yourself wishing people would not always leave comments that agree with you? Haven't really had any comments like that but I'm sure I wouldn't like it.


7. Do you comment on other people's blogs a lot, sometimes, or very little? I try to but sometimes I just don't know what to say and I find most of the time my comments are pretty generic. Sorry about that.


8. What determines why you don't post a comment on someone else's blog? Whether or not I have something to say, can't get any simpler than that.


9. Do you have more than one blog? I'll answer no even though I have the Daisy Mouse site.

10. Do you read random blogs either off of random blogger or friend's lists? Once in awhile but I usually don't have the time to.
